Trigo arrives in Poland with a new 100% autonomous store
Another month, and another new market for Trigo. Today marks an exciting milestone as we deliver a 100% frictionless, complete grocery experience to Warsaw, Poland, together with our strategic partner Auchan. Our newest store is at the heels of our first Trigo-powered Auchan store, which opened in April at the Auchan corporate headquarters near Paris.
Our partnership with Auchan is growing strong, bolstered by our shared commitment to innovation and delivering superior in-store experiences. Our first joint store was aptly named Auchan Go le Lab, with the clear purpose of serving as an innovation hub for the Auchan team. After Auchan Go le Lab, our new Warsaw store is the second Trigo-powered store to feature a contactless tap-and-go experience, enabling shoppers to tap their credit or debit card to enter and exit. Previously, shoppers in Trigo-powered stores would download a retailer’s app or scan a QR code to enter the store. This innovation takes payment options to the next level, making shopping even more intuitive and convenient for a broad range of customers.
Auchan is a powerful player in the European grocery sector, operating stores across the entire food retail spectrum, from hypermarkets and supermarkets to convenience stores. As the only tech partner with proven abilities to retrofit and transform large-format stores into smart, autonomous stores, our partnership feels natural.
