Within the meaning of this recruitment privacy notice, the term “personal data” refers to any data or information related to you that we collect, process, use and retain in connection with your job application, the term “processing” refers to any action we perform on personal data, and “data controller” generally refers to the entity determining the purpose for which personal data is processed.
If the applicable laws require your consent for our processing of personal data related to you, then you indicate your consent when you provide the personal data to us or to any of our service providers, and when you apply for a job with Trigo.
You are not required by law to provide us with any personal data, but if you don’t, we may not proceed with the application process that includes the processing of personal data related to you.

We will process personal data related to you as a job applicant, whether you are a prospective employee, worker, intern, agency worker, consultant, director, or contractor of ours.
We will also process personal data in relation to your references (for example, your former supervisors or managers) , in the circumstances set out in the section “What Do We Do with Personal Data Related to You?“ of this recruitment privacy notice.
Categories Of Sources
When you apply for a job at Trigo, we obtain the categories of personal data listed below from the following categories of sources:
- Through the application and recruitment process, either directly from you when you apply for a job, or from recruitment service providers or consultants if such were involved.
- From third parties, including former employers, and subject to applicable laws, through background checks.
- If you use our online application system to apply for a job, our HR platform service provider will collect personal data related to you on our behalf.
- From publicly available sources, such as social media.

The specific categories of personal data that we process in connection with job applications and how we use it are determined in accordance with the applicable law.
If you apply to more than one location, the categories of personal data we process and how we use it will be determined based on the requirements of all relevant countries.
As part of our recruitment processes, we record, collect, store, and analyze the following personal data that you provide us with and that we receive or collect about you:
- Personal data connected to your identification, such as first name, surname, title, date of birth, and place of birth.
- Contact information such as: address (street, zip code, country), phone number, email address.
- Professional, employment, and education Information, including:
- eligibility information such as current salary, benefits, tax and pension-related information, performance-related information, recruitment history, background checks, resume/CV, employment history (employers, job titles, length of employment), educational background and training, linguistic capabilities, job skills, and personal interests;
- verification and background information such as diplomas, certificates, national IDs, driver’s license, passport, social security, and birth certificate; and
- reference materials and documents such as job references and letters of recommendation, immigration visa status, and security clearance (all subjects to and in accordance with applicable law).
- Social media information, such as your LinkedIn profile.
- Information that you provide us with about your work and personality traits, such as answers during an interview, answers to essay questions, or information about your salary expectations and work preferences.
- Online identifiers and internet network activity information that we collect and process by using cookies and other tracking technologies (see our Cookies and Similar Tracking Technologies Notice for additional information). When you visit our ‘Career’ online webpages at our website, landing pages and other digital assets, or view job positions, or click on the ‘Apply’ or similar button for specific positions, we and our third party service providers collect data such as the IP address of your device, which provides your device’s location (not precise geo location), browser information, session durations, viewed pages, mobile ad identifier (or similar unique advertising identifiers), access device and connection information such as browser type, version, and time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system, and platform.
- Security information, such as CCTV footage if you visit our offices, and information on your use of any information and communication systems that we will make available to you during your application process.
- Inferences drawn from the categories described above.
Your Responsibilities
It is important that the personal data that we hold about you during the recruitment process is accurate and current. Please keep us informed if personal data related to you changes.
If you give us personal data about someone else, such as the name, surname, contact details, or professional and employment information of your references, you must do so only with that person’s express authorization, after sharing this recruitment privacy notice with that person. You must inform them how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal data related to them according to this recruitment privacy notice before you provide us with such personal data.
You must also comply with this recruitment privacy notice and our policies, standards, and procedures that are brought to your attention when handling any information to which you have access in the course of your relationship with us, including any personal data related to other individuals. What Do We Do with Personal Data Related to You?

How Long Do We Retain Personal Data?
We store your job application documents and content in accordance with our internal data retention practices and applicable law. We then delete the application documents from our systems.
Retention periods can vary based on the duration of the recruitment process, vacant positions, and our decision whether to hire you or not.
We will maintain a record with details about your submission of the application with us, such as your name, interview dates and locations, our decision whether to hire you or not and other relevant information, for archival purposes, to establish exercise and defend legal claims and if we are required under law to retain personal data related to you.
What Are Your Choices and Rights, and How Can You Exercise Them?
We provide you with the following choices, and respect your rights under the applicable laws, to allow you to control the way we use personal data related to you:
- Applying for a job and submitting your job candidacy materials is voluntary, and at any time, if you would like to withdraw your job candidacy, you can contact us and request that we stop considering your application and that we delete your profile and any materials we collected.
- Our deletion of personal data related to you and job application materials will be completed in accordance with our retention policy as described in the “How Long Do We Retain Personal Data?” section of this recruitment privacy notice.
- You have the right to access the personal data that we keep about you, subject to certain applicable legal limitations. We will ask you to provide certain credentials to verify your identity. If required under applicable law, we will make good-faith efforts to locate and provide you with a copy of personal data related to you that you request and that resides in our information systems.
- If you find that personal data related to you that we process is inaccurate, incomplete or not up to date, you may request that this personal data be corrected or deleted. Transfer of Personal Data Outside Your Territory
We may store and process personal data in various sites throughout the globe and in sites operated and maintained by cloud-based service providers, including in the United States, and for such purpose transfer personal data related to you to such territories.
Depending on applicable law, such a transfer of personal data is subject to certain conditions. If you are a resident in a country where the transfer of personal data related to you to another country requires your consent, then you hereby provide Trigo with the necessary consent for such transfer of personal data.

Aggregated and Analytical Data
We may use anonymous, statistical and aggregated data that we derive from personal data related to you to drive insights, statistics, trends and predictions for our internal use and will share it at our discretion for lawful business purposes.

Our Processing of Personal Data under European Economic Area (EEA) Privacy Laws
Lawful Ground

If you are located in EEA, note that we will also transfer personal data from the EEA to countries that provide an adequate level of data protection, subject to an EU Commission decision.

Children’s Privacy
We do not intend and do not knowingly collect, sell or share personal data of children under the age of sixteen (16).
We reserve the right to request proof of age, via a recognized identification method, at any stage, so that we can verify that minors are not using our website without appropriate consent. If we learn that we have collected personal data from children under the age of sixteen (16) we will delete that data promptly.
