Automation Team Leader

Description

We are looking for a talented & experienced Automation Team Leader to join our V&V department.

You will take an active part in the release processes, R&D deliveries and will ensure a successful deployment across the company’s SW and HW components.

A day in the life:

• Define, build and lead the automation infrastructure and flow
• Manage the day-to-day activities of automation team members
• Hire, coach, and direct the automation developers
• Provide technical leadership in the form of mentoring and knowledge sharing with team members
• Define and execute tests including production scenarios
• Leads all release approval processes from design to production
• Incorporates distributed solutions to complete a generic solution
• Define and validate clear gates in/out
• Working intensively with all R&D groups and across the company’s main stakeholders

You bring to the table:

• At least 5 years of experience as an Automation Engineer
• At least 3 years of experience in leading a QA automation team
• Proven industry experience using Linux and Dockers (Swarm / Kubernetes)
• Background in algorithm tests and evaluation
• Vast knowledge in QA methodologies including plan, design, execution, and reporting
• Experience with API testing and supporting back-end environments
• Proven experience working in complicated distributed systems
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent English
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Superior organizational skills, team player, and self-driven with attention to detail

Nice to have:

• BSc. in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• Hands-on experience with tools like Jira, Jenkins, Git, Confluence, etc.
• Experience with hardware and complicated Integrations
• Experience with AI performance and accuracy tests
• Experience with cloud-based application architecture
• Familiarity with IT principles
• Experience with performance and/or security testing
