Senior QA Engineer

The position:

We are looking for a talented Senior Quality Engineer who will be central in ensuring production readiness of complex features, architecture, and logical changes, in all SW, HW, and algorithm components. You will be an integral part of development projects and accompany the R&D delivery stream. In addition, you will assure E2E solutions, analyze complicated logical implementations, and examine cross-system integrations. 

A day in the life:

• Take an interactive part of R&D’s project teams as a quality representative, integrating into the development processes, and defining the quality test plan
• Define and execute complex tests in various fields, including SW eng architecture changes, algorithm logic pipeline, neural network improvements, and more
• Lead release approval processes from design to production
• Incorporate distributed solutions to complete a generic solution
• Perform hands-on testing while incorporating methodical problem-solving abilities
• Define and validate clear gates in/out
• Take an active part in defining and basing quality standards and processes

You bring to the table:

• At least 5 years of experience as a QA engineer
• Experience with QA methodologies and processes
• Proven experience working in complicated distributed systems
• Experience with hardware and complicated Integrations
• Experience with STP/STD/STR building and writing
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to perform root-cause analysis in order to isolate issues and develop solutions
• Passionate about research and possess exceptional troubleshooting skills
• Proven industry experience using Linux and Dockers (Swarm / Kubernetes)
• Background in algorithm testing and evaluation
• Experience with API testing and supporting back-end environments
• Communication skills, both in written and verbal form
• Has the ability to work on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Superior organizational skills, independent and team player, and self-driven with attention to detail
• Excellent English

Nice to have:

• BSc. in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• Hands-on experience with tools like Jira, Jenkins, Git, Confluence, etc.
• Scripting experience with at least one of the following languages Python, JavaScript, PHP, or Shell
• Experience with AI performance and accuracy tests
• Experience with cloud-based application architecture
• Familiarity with IT principles
