NPI Engineer

The position:

We are looking for a talented engineer to lead the technical aspect of NPI projects. While positioned in the Supply-Chain group you will be collaborating with our ‘Delivery’ department, R&D and external suppliers to deliver Trigo-powered stores which are no less than fantastic!

A day in the life:

  • Build Product/Production files and Product and assembly documentation, including technical drawings, BOM list, assembly procedures, etc
  • Design of jigs and fixtures for optimizing manufacturing and assembly processes
  • Support all tech aspects, DFMA and FAI (mechanical/ electro-mechanical)
  • Design improvements - Work closely with R&D team, to improve design DFX (manufacturability and assembly process)
  • Conduct product ECO process and waivers
  • Implementing QA activities: IQC, IPQC, OQC approval to supplier
  • Managing suppliers’ timelines and deliverables in order to meet product/project goals and roadmap, involving all relevant stakeholders
  • Lead 2nd source & cost reduction activities

You bring to the table:

  • Practical Engineer Mechanics or Electronics
  • At least 1-2 years of proven experience in an engineering environment, including metal fabrication technologies
  • At least 1 years of proven experience in mechanical design (simple assemblies)
  • Proven experience with Turn-Key project management and suppliers
  • Ability to solve technical problems of multi-disciplinary products (mechanic and electronic)
  • Advanced level in English - speaking and writing
  • Experienced in SolidWorks (or equivalent software)
  • Self-motivated, (independent?) and able to take initiatives to solve problems

Nice to have:

  • BSc degree in Mechanical engineering
  • Electric technician capabilities
  • Experience with ERP systems – Priority
  • Experience in the hardware industries (Automotive, Printing, FABs)
